I love and don't love the skirts. My issue with them is that they're a bit see-through! Whoops! So I'll have to cover up well when I wear this. If you noticed, you'll see that the bottoms pleats are sewn together. What that's all about is for keeping the pleats in tact when being shipped. So it's an easy fix to just go through it and cut them off -- something I have yet to do. Apologies for the weird-looking skirt in the pictures! I need to retake the pictures with the thread taken out..!

The top, however, is ridiculously short. My remedy? Pull the skirt up. Sorry but that's all I got on this one! If I were a master sewer I'd lengthen the top but I don't know if that's doable even for people who CAN sew.

Aside from the weird...bit on the bow, it's a sturdy headband. I haven't tried removing the weird brown bit on it yet but I don't think that'll come off.

[Bodyline] COS561 + ACC457

COS561 - red

The tie it comes with is pretty short. I loosened it up as far as it could go and it's still a little snug. The skirt's fabric is quite thick so that's a big thumbs up! I'm just a little wary of length. The shirt's length is a little above my belly button but since you pull the skirt over the shirt, it's not a big deal. I feel like I'm in a marching band when I put this on. WHERE'S MY BATON?

I absolutely love the skirt you guysss. It can definitely become a staple of a fellow plaid lover's wardrobe! Especially mine. Eheheh.

Good quality. Rim is pretty stiff, bow is velvet, little stones are securely glued. Nothing bad to say here. ♥

I'm not afraid of it falling apart or anything like that. I'm pretty happy with this purchase and I am interested in buying this in the other colors.

[Bodyline] L398 + ACC1087

L398 - wine

Certainly not my first Bodyline purchase. More like my second! My first Bodyline purchase review needs to be tweaked a bit more (better photos, really..) so I'm posting the one that is good to go! ♥

I wore it for Valentine's Day so here's an outfit photo with it!
I'm not crazy about outfit because I was hoping to get a matching red top but I cut it too close to V-Day! D: Derp procrastination!

Here's a close up of the back ribbons that had to be sewn and are barely holding on.

The last three pictures are proof to my gripe about this skirt: When I tried it on a second time to figure out what top to wear with it, the zipper got caught in the fabric. I had to try not to rip the fabric while jiggling the zipper free. But in that process one of the ribbons in the back ripped out of the loops. From there I noticed the ribbon is practically held together by the not-so-well-enforced loops. I was able to fix the ribbon by reinforcing it but the rest of it worries me for the next time I want to wear this skirt.

So if you're having doubts on whether or not you want this skirt just BE WARY OF THE BACK RIBBONS' LOOPS!!! Some basic sewing skills will suffice.

As for a close-up and itty bitty review on the accessory:

There's something about it that doesn't "WOW!" me when I saw it up close. But it goes really well with the skirt! It's cute but at the same time I don't feel like it was worth the $7. It's unlikely that I'd get it in another color.

Opening~

of a new blog! Wee! As if I really needed another one!!

The whole point of this blog is a place to put my reviews and keep a list of my online purchases -- and trust me that is a lot. I ran into the problem of not remember what circle lenses my first and favorite ones were twice and had to sift through old photos in hopes of past!me mentioning the name of it. Fortunately I found it (GBK-3) and all is well! Now to just find a site that sells them. (╬ ಠ益ಠ)

The other point of this blog is to keep track of store I frequent. I'm always forgetting stores that I know I can trust, and ones that disappointed me. Eventually they get lost in eBay's history and such and such. I can only bookmark so many places!

So here it is! My blog that validates my addiction to shoppinghelps me keep track of my purchases and share my thoughts with the interwebz! ♪(*^ー゜)v(*^▽^*)*☆ガンバ☆♪
